Hello there.

I had an itch today. It was to type in Black Bayou and see what popped up. I had NO idea players were still writing the game out after so many years. Warmed my heart. :)

Anyways, I'm from the AOL days, and not to pat myself on the back or anything, but I was the 2nd player to take over the Chapev family for a long time.

I have wonderful memories (and some not so great) but I was wondering if anyone from those days were still around.

Trying to glance at some of these posts and its great to see the quality of writing is still the same.

All the best!

There are some lurking about but most aren't actively writing. We'd love if you felt like joining in. Most are now down by threads on the forums and some are done in private chats then posted.

Thank you for the quick reply, Jade.

My character sheet is so long gone I wouldn't know where to begin. Alexander was 'killed' by a werewolf but that player used a trick that was later deemed illegal and I was asked to come back. But, by that time, I was sort of burnt out anyways.

Let me try and read over some Chapev SL's...I don't want to step on anyone's toes, but if I bring Alexander back, its still going to be the same character and he's not going to be any nicer or anything....hell, being buried in a swamp for 10 years would make anyone ticked off. =)

I can only speak for myself, but more players makes a better game.. Think about it :)

Goodness Gracious, great balls of fire. I haven't seen the name Alexander Landermont in a billion years. There are a few of the older players still hanging around, me being one of them. Been running this forum for over three years now and I do remember Alex's demise and the circumstances surrounding the conflict. It's a pleasure to say that certain people dislike the honesty of this group that they decided not to stick around.

You can IM me on AIM under Chazstorm or PM me here.

Welcome back, Alexander Landermont! You might be interested to know that the Chapaev family still exists. I'd love to see all our members get together and either do a story line or find times to RP.

Good God, that's a name I haven't seen since... well, whatever the hell the name of my first character was (it was way too long ago and my memory isn't what it used to be).

Same here. I got the itch after watching a rerun of True Blood. Got me thinking about BB back in the old days. The other fun thing is browsing through the member list. Some of those names are real blasts from the past. It's like going to my HS reunion.

I may have to bring Jerod back. Though he was an insufferable asshole if I recall...

Anyway, if anyone remembers me, then drop me a line...or e-mail as the case may be.

It's so great to hear from you guys. It would be fantastic to get some of the old people back together again to RP and or post. I am also in contact with Tevar and Nitram Talhalsia. Happy Holidays to all!

Oh my word! I cannot believe this place is still here. Are there many of you still playing? I am also from the AOL days (not sure if this crowd remembers me). Wow, this blows my mind!

I'm still kicking around, just not very often. Although, I believe I came in after you had been 'killed', and Maia was running the show.

James I remember you and Snake, I remember you well. Good to hear from both of you and the others as well. What a treat it would be to get the BB Alumni all back together again some evening.

I am absolutely on board. I have no idea what happened to Jamee's character sheet though, should I just make a new one? Do I need to re-roll mortal instead of vampire?

For anyone interested in old character sheets, our only remaining keeper of records etc is BBCHHunter@aol.com, she has kept the records and the game going, at times single handedly.

Hey. I got that itch today too. And, hey, I'm actually registered. Who would'a thunk? I've been RPing in RhyDin, but if anyone here wants to get something going again, I'm all for it. You can reach me at VergeofDawn@aol.com. Give me a buzz. Is there still actually a room? I'm so out of the loop.

You have to actually respond to the email in order to get an RP going. ;)

Sounds good to me. As long as they aren't hit and run artists like above poster. ::rolls eyes::
